Passport for Good and the New York State PTA today announced an alliance that will allow PTA members across the state to use the Passport for Good community engagement tool.
Green Tech High Charter School has signed on to use the Passport for Good software platform to enhance the school’s service learning program and encourage students’ community engagement. Green Tech enrolls approximately 360 boys in grades 9-12.

Passport for Good, a software startup that makes it easier for students and businesses to track community service hours, has raised more than $500,000. The company was started by Gayle Farman in 2015. Farman got the idea when her daughters were preparing to apply to college, and there was no easy way to track community service hours.
Ithaca College will begin to utilize the Passport for Good software platform to encourage and capture student and community engagement. It is the first college to join the service. The School of Business will spearhead the effort as the first academic unit of the college to use the Passport for Good system.
