Passport for Good and Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York have announced a collaboration, through which Junior Achievement will allow its participating students to earn stamps in their Passport for Good passports when they participate in Junior Achievement in their schools.
Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York (JA) serves more than 14,000 students from 42 school districts throughout Northeastern New York. Its footprint spans 11 counties in the Mid-Hudson region, the Capital Region and the Adirondack region.
“The Junior Achievement mission is complementary to the Passport for Good mission, and partnering with Passport for Good makes perfect sense,” said Tovah Lisky, president of Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York. “Our JA volunteers educate students about how they can positively impact their communities as consumers, employees and employers. Passport for Good is encouraging many of the same students to engage with their communities and assisting those students and their schools to aggregate data on that engagement. The bottom line is the same: Both of our organizations are committed to improving our communities.”

Junior Achievement is a highly valued program career development program that is not currently documented in the student transcript. Schools and students now have somewhere to capture what they are experiencing in their extracurricular Passport.”

Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York, Inc. is one of 107 licensed areas of Junior Achievement USA. Its purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in our global economy. Presently we pursue our mission through the delivery of sequential programming for youth at all levels from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
